Reed, White, Dush to Co-Host Senior Expo on Oct. 25
INDIANA – In their continuing efforts to inform older residents about services and programs that improve the quality of their lives, Reps. Dave Reed (R-Indiana) and Cris Dush (R-Jefferson/Indiana, and Sen. Don White (R-41) are co-hosting a Senior Expo on Thursday, Oct. 25. The free event will take place from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. in S&T Bank Arena at the White Township Recreation Complex, 497 E. Pike Road, Indiana.

“Many programs and services are available in our area to help our older residents stay healthy, live in their own homes and plan for the future,” said Reed. “Our expo brings all of that information under one roof to make it easier for seniors to assess their options and make good decisions.”

The Senior Expo is designed to provide a wealth of information about health care, insurance, nutrition and exercise, fire safety, financial planning, benefit programs, hunting and fishing, and personal safety. Health screenings and flu shots will also be available.

Seniors can also bring their unused or expired prescriptions and medications for safe and proper disposal in a drug drop off box sponsored by the Armstrong-Indiana-Clarion Drug and Alcohol Commission and the Indiana County District Attorney’s Office.

In addition, free refreshments will be provided.

For more information, call Reed’s office at (724) 465-0220 or White’s office at (724) 357-0151.
